Let's give the Rant escapee a slight pass on that incoherent drivel. He made no mention of schedules, SEC officiating or ESPN's plot to ruin LSU football. So, I guess there is hope.

Um, it's the talk of the NFL at the moment. People aren't looking for the next Tom Brady they are looking for the next Kaepernick or Wilson, not Tom Brady.
Meh. Wilson, Kap, and RGIII would all be traded in favor of Luck right now. I agree the mobile guys have changed the game, but true NFL quality pro-style guys have been scarce for some reason, not chased out of the league.

Well Luck still runs a 4.6 and AJ McCarron is nothing like Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck could go down as a top 10 QB all-time.

I mean, I would sell my soul for b2b national championships for OM

He's nothing like Tom Brady either, just pointing out that if a pro-style guy is good enough there's still more than enough room for him in the NFL.

Agree. The point I'm making is that he's not in that upper tier franchise building type QB, imo. He's with that Mett/Murray group of back up. I also believe that currently that back up role your NFL GMs might be looking more towards the mobile guy for a project type guy instead of the traditional pro-style guy they might have two or three years ago. If you're a GM and you've got an entrenched starter towards the end of his contract or career and you're circling one of your later round picks for a QB, say San Diego, Houston, Oakland, Chicago, Denver... are you going to try and get a more mobile guy? The answer isn't clear cut, but in the aggregate I think teams might lean more towards a Stephen Morris than an AJ McCarron. As far as your point of pro-style guys always having room, you're right. If the Super Bowl is Seattle vs Denver, and Seattle rocks them... Kevin Hogan will still be a franchise QB in one of the upcoming drafts. Good QBs are good QBs.

Tom Brady was nothing like Tom Brady at Michigan either.

To guarkkill-529: The proud Pachyderms love to list all the years they won national championships but when a few questions arise about their arrogant, national championship greed syndrome their answers are unresponsive---
First Question to the Pachyderms: Name a NCAA QB other than McCarron whose won two national championship rings but returned to play for his third?- No responsive answer given -
Second Question: This one is a gimme -- Name the only SEC team which is too embarrassed to have and feed its real life mascot but instead has Godlike statues of their coaches which are worshiped and glorified before each game ( rumor has it Saban didn't like his statue and it was redone)?

Because the answer is obvious I don't know why you're asking it. The University of Southern California(by University of Alabama standards) won a National Championship in 2003, 2004, then Matt Leinart came back to play for his third.

Your first few posts were on Tiger Rant.
You really should have stayed there.
Whatever gave you the idea that you were ready to graduate to the SEC Rant?
Did you sell your soul to the Devil?

To TelLeFax: I now see why Auburn fans are psychotic and don't know if they are the War Eagles, the Plainsmen or the Tigers---
My question was - Name a NCAA QB who won two national championship rings and came back to play for his third ring?
You responded-'.. no one responded because the answer was so apparent - It was Matt Leinhart who won national championship rings for USC in 2003
and 2004 and came back to play for his third.'
I seem to recall the Real LSU Tigers won the 2003 National Championship and have the frickin' crystal ball to prove it!!!!!
The Question still stands to all Pachyderms: Name a NCAA QB who won two national championship rings and was greedy enough to play for a third ring?

That would still be Leinhart. He has 2 national championship rings. You may not agree with it, but he still has them.
