But it was like celebrating with player. Not players plural

Like 3 guys at most. They seemed to be embarrassed with the guy too

It's just weird. It really is

Still winning a bowl game is good though

Good job Vols. Dobbs is a baller and Barnett is too.
Way to represent!

I swear you could time Nebraskas defense with a sun dial, no reaction speed at all...you could see the big difference in southern speed and midwest plains power. The real gamer for NU would have to be there TE/WR who caught several impressive balls...and their WR # 15 who was pretty quick and obviously from Texas or the south

I liked the broadcast team explaining that Dobbs was mad at himself for staying up late a couple of nights a week for tests just before the USC game....oh so THATS why UT lost?

I am sure Dobbs is a good guy and he has a bright future in the aeronautical field...but damn. I was ready for a video clip of him with a young puppy next.

No the players just got excited and picked him up. It was just a celebration on the sideline but they didn't actually carry him off the field.

Yeah, it gives you the right to be an a-hole which you are taking full advantage of. I still don't understand why someone would use that right in a thread with in which their team isn't playing.

Isn't Kelly the fastest guy on the team. He's from Detroit

That southern speed, Midwest power crap is such a tired argument in 2016

Sec teams have power too. And big ten teams have speed too

He might be from Detroit...but how long? And were his parents from the south? Of course there are exceptions MP, but did you watch the same game I did? UT has elusive players..I know that...but they owned the perimeter all game long with their speed and NU's lack of it. Some of their LBs were probably 4.9 to 5.0 40 types.

Don't know if Kelly is the fastest but he's definitely in the top group. Evan Berry and Tyler Byrd are probably faster but not by much.

Kelly is indeed from Detroit and a very underrated prospect. I remember seeing his tape and wondering why the hell he was only a 3* and to be honest I think him being from Detroit had a lot to do with it bc there had been some high profile recruits that wound up getting in trouble and giving all Detroit recruits a bad name. Thankfully, Kelly isn't like that.

That all said the conferences recruit specific types of players to suit each conference. It's not about where they're originally from so much as where they play and what style they end up playing. SEC or southern speed doesn't mean the players are southern nor does midwest power mean those players are all midwestern -- it's about the conference style.

The only thing you will see is that more kids from the south play football. That's why you will see better players. Football is somewhat of a dying sport. Parents don't want their kids to play as much as did in the past. The south is still hanging on. So there will be a lot more players to choose from

That's why you see teams come down here a lot more

SEC looked better out there today, took down the Big 12 and Big 10's good teams.

You said LE to RE. He was at RE all season. Was at LE on the play he broke the record.

I actually said he was moved to LE from RE and you can check that, but it's really not that big of a deal.
