Maybe Joe Has A Genius Plan After All

Everyone is assuming that Joe hired Coach O due to a lack of a plan, but maybe really he was being an innovative genius.
Maybe Joe looked at the situation and realized what is obvious to everyone outside of Baton Rouge- the SEC West is unwinnable as long as Saban is around.
So instead of committing to a top tier hire who locks LSU in for years of not beating Nick for big money, he instead hired a guy for cheap to do as well as anyone can as long as Nick is around.
That way when Nick retires LSU can fire Coach O and go after a real splash hire to take advantage of the vacuum that will be created.

You really think that dipshit is that smart? He only hired o so they could keep recruits. He's a recruiting genius and knows the area better than anyone. Paired with possibly kiffin and aranda LSU could legit be scary next year if things work out.
