lets not go overboard making excuses for him, he violated team rules or he would still be starting according to Pinkels lines..
as of Monday, his dads cancer surgery went well, and Mauk doesn't have to talk to the media if he doesn't want to. He's living under no more of a microscope than any SEC QB, who all look across the line at "turmoil" every saturday.

I made no excuse, just stated facts. Are you sure every SEC QB has a father with cancer and a fanbase calling for his replacement? I do not defend or condemn Maty. I even wonder if he might have shot himself in the foot to move things along.

People sometimes sabotage themselves when they're in a difficult spot. Not sure that's a novel theory. And I'm not sure if applies here. But it's not an unquestionably bad idea.

While this is probably true I was actually trying to figure out how the video was made. As they seem to be responding to each other was that th way it went down or did somebody just do a good edit job after the fact?
