Kick them while you can. It won't last forever so you better enjoy it.

No doubt. UF won't stay down forever and they've never lacked for talent. If anyone thinks otherwise they're in for a rude awakening.

I totally agree that they have far superior talent, but what confuses me is with so much depth, how they cannot field a competitive team. I mean, their third string are higher recruited guys than our first string. With so much talent, how is there not at least a handful of guys capable of putting some points on the board?

Muschamp just doesn't have a mind for Offense and he's made bad hires at OC. Also QB Driskel has so far been a bust given how highly rated he was but he has a chance to turn that around this year in an offense better suited to his skills. If Roper works out, and his mentor, David Cutcliffe, is one of the best offensive minds in CFB and the best QB guru period, we're all in trouble. You don't remember it because you're new but UF before Muschamp was known for its high octane offenses under both Spurrier and Myer.

That said, who knows if Roper will make it on his own or if Muschamp really is that bad as an overall HC. We'll find out this year because UF will fire Muschamp if this year isn't the year they finally find an offense.

I do remember those Tebow offenses, and hope we don't have to deal with anything similar anytime soon. At least until we get some better LB's and proven DB's.

Believe it or not, they were just as high powered under the Fun n' Gun that Spurrier ran, maybe even more. During Myers tenure... Tebow was an unstoppable force as a college QB and they also had Harvin. That combo and the talent they had all over the skills positions was deadly.

I hope Muschamp is awful this year but when UF players actually decide to play instead of just slack off the talent level is unreal and is a simply a mismatch for every team that isn't recruiting consistently in the top 5.
