What pedigree does this guy have that have LSU fans so hard over him?
He's never coached a really good offense and a quick wiki search shows he was not retained at freaking NC State two years ago.

They scored a lot on Clemson last year.

He was able to do what Saban couldn't with a bunch of 2-star and 3-Star athlete like beating Clemson. He also beat Penn State, and he's not Les Miles.

Something happened at NC state which was odd because he helped resurge jacoby Brissetts career and supposedly was a big reason he was drafted. He was a journeyman qb. Nathan peterman at Pittsburgh was also a transfer qb journeyman and he really turned him around. He had a lot of success at N Illinois. Qb guru that's known for adapting to different types of qbs and personell. He likes to run the rock which is a food fit for Lsu. He was a broyles winner I think or a finalist. Set pitt scoring record although it was just one year
