Never really understood why it was considered such a big feat when Mathews was basically standing still.

It wasn't a big deal

You don't stand in front of Fournette in the open field. Unless you're 185 lb Marlon Humphrey. Then you stick him, drive him backwards, and drop his arse for a loss.

Reuben Foster and/or anyone on the Bama front 7 from 2015 say hello...

Call me crazy, but if true I can kinda understand where the dude was coming from. If i tackled LF I would probably die there on the field.

Well, the apple hasn't fallen too far from the tree when it comes to business decisions.

Probably what they are taught, as well. At least it seems to be the philosophy everytime we play the Ag's.

We said "open field" Gump. He didn't get that opportunity with shitty QB & O-Line play.

At least Trey acted like he was trying to tackle, Rudy ford slowed down and ran away, that game was embarassing

I'm not sure Muschamp had experienced a defense quite like the inherited at AU last season.

"business decision"
Isn't that the case for anyone who plays at Auburn?

Mathews claims famous whiff on Fournette a "business decision" by LanierSpots

That was actually kind of funny. You can tell he's received so much shite for that play

My point exactly. Im sure he has heard about it.

Even his description 'business decision' came off with satirical wit....

That's because the entire Alabama defense made it a point to stop Fournette. It was a miracle every time he made it to the line of scrimmage.

I got bad news for you. Most of those plays there were only 7 defenders in the box.

And more than once a corner or safety was solo tackling LF for a loss.

I really want Fournette to win the Heisman. The highlight of his college career can't be a 2014 gif. It can't end this way.
