You realize your conference’s stats are inflated by playing against the worst offensive teams In power 5?
Most of the Big10 is at or near the bottom of offensive production and it has little to do with defense

And Marv is still the best receiver in the country.

Big Ten offensive stats are lower because of the elite defenses faced all season.

MHJ is the best prospect marginally according to most mock drafts. I see them both in the top 10 of most current mocks. MN was the most productive this season though. I guess it depends on how you define “ best” in this instance. It’s kind of a dubious claim that this was a hands down award. A career award might be a different story? The PR campaign was pretty strong for MHJ. Especially that insane announcer screaming “ Maserati Marv” when he would catch a 5 yard out. It reminded me of that Mean Girls character trying to make fetch happen. It was kind of obnoxious. That said he’s a legit recipient of the award. I think he has the potential to be a fantastic pro. But he clearly wasn’t the most productive. That’s not subjective like the eye test.

Of course he is, and that's the point.

Big Ten has "elite defenses" because y'alls league is arse on offense and y'all schedule OOC cupcakes to pad the stats. Alabama is about to drop 500+ yards, 30+ points on Michigan's "elite defense" in playoffs. Mizzou will also beat up OSU, but we won't mention that because tOSU will use the excuse of players sitting out.
Penn State (#1) - Best OOC: West Virginia (#27 total offense)
Michigan (#2) - Best OOC: UNLV (#46 total offense)
Ohio State (3) - Best OOC: ND (#29 total offense)
Iowa (#5) - Best OOC: W Michigan (#78 total offense)

Not that surprising when the selection committee has been SEC biased the cfp's entirety. We'll see what happens with the new layout next year

Congrats to the most outstanding receiver in college football.
Except in terms of catches, yards, TDs or any meaningful metric. Other than that, yeah.

At least you posted something relevant, but I'll keep repeating this until y'all get it...
Marv went up against three of the top four passing defenses in the country. The one that he didn't was Ohio State's.
Just stop. It's embarrassing.
