The fact that we're having a historic 3 pt shooting night doesn't take away from the fact that a 4 minute doldrum to start a game against a conference opponent isn't good for your chances to win most of the time.
Because starting seniors on Senior Night has no motivation factor whatsoever.

Doesn't change the fact that if we somehow LOST this game by one or two points (as we've managed to do a few times this season), those first 4 minutes of playing a new starting unit with less chemistry PROBABLY could be pointed to as something that kept us from maximizing our utility.
But it's cool. We're beating the shite out of them. I'm just saying it's not something I feel comfortable with a coach taking a chance on WHEN THE STAKES ARE THIS HIGH.
I don't care who starts if we're an established juggernaut with our place in the tourney cemented. I don't care who starts if we're atrocious and have no shot of making the post season. I DO have a problem taking a chance...even a small chance on a game like this with massive implications for our post-season chances.
