We're only favored by 10. Our defense has been better than UGA's so far and our guys have been pumped at home. We'll be missing DJ but I doubt they move the ball 'pretty easily'.

I'd consider SC 3 pt favorites.

Yea, maybe I'm too skeptical of the defense at this point. But UAB and ECU both had some guys running wide open for a lot of the night but just couldnt hit them. They also both moved the ball pretty well between the 20s - especially ECU before they eventually turned it over.

And the other reason is that in the Spurrier era the D has had trouble with Mizzou style spread option teams.

I hear you. Our D was gassed in the 4thq of both the UGA game as well as the ASU game. We need the O to sustain drives and play the field position game in order to help on that end.

I see Mizzous offense getting more done than SC's offense.

Was uncertain about this game but as it gets closer I'm feeling a Mizzou win.

The D will win this game for Mizzou, and the offense is in better shape the the SC offense.

Hmmmm, I think Jarvis was hiding in the same closet with Franklin....also..... Didn't he set out last week too? He so bad he scared himself!

Good one though. I chuckled.

wouldn't surpise me one bit

Me either. I went to see the Cocks at Vandy and was not one bit impressed, except for Connor Shaw's toughness.

CNB,

Same applies for the comments towards Mizzou. We lose one close game to #7 Georgia and everyone thinks we're the weakest team in the SEC.

Some people gonna be surprised by Mizzou this year.

No one has come close to saying that -- look at this thread and how many people like Mizzou's chances. No one has compared Mizzou to Kentucky, or even Auburn or Arkansas.

You just aren't going to win this weekend is all. You went 1-4 on the road last year and this is your first ever SEC road game. And, frankly, South Carolina is better than you.

This is from a Georgia source, "Jones said he got the cadence of Franklins snap count down in the 1st half and it never changed. Allowed him to fire off as the ball was snapped".
and
"Mizzous offensive coordinator aint that sharp. We had some serious deficiencies on defense and he didnt do much to exploit them".

You guys bitchin about every play Yost calls would be pissing down both legs if you had that responsibility.

I think it will be a 24-17 type game. The things that give me hope are our run defense and getting pressure on the qb. Also, I read somewhere that Carolina's offensive tackles go 278 and 274. Is that correct?

Yeah, our weak o-line is actually bigger than SC's o-line (doesn't always mean better). Matter did a scoop on that earlier this week.

It will be interesting, because this will be our best o-line we've had all year. Britt and Meiners on the outside will help. Meiners just played inside last week for a limited time. Britt is finally getting in game shape, missed most of camp. Maybe the o-line ends up being good enough.

Our D will out play there D.. we'll see what happens with turnovers and special teams to see who wins the game.

Welcome to the club Jarvis. At this point the anti Yost club could start selling merchandise. Dart boards (like those bin laden ones).

And urhatinit, are you serious? 'We would all be pissing down our leg if we were OC's?' How original.. of course we haven't been groomed for coaching major college football. What is your point? Does it mean that Yost is good, no. I hate comments like that.

I think he's average to above-average but.

I just get sick of hearing every play call get crticized. Everyone wants us to run the ball more but they also want to throw it deep more.

I have no doubt that the team from Columbia wins this game.
