let me ask Yall this, Are you truly happy with UGAs sucess over the past 10 seasons, or do you think you could've accomplished more?

What exactly is your intention with this? Trying to "get" us somehow?

There isn't one, single, solitary UGA fan either on this board or in real life that is "truly happy" with what we've done, and doesn't think we could've accomplished more. That's completely idiotic to think that. We clearly could have done more. We could have done better.

We just didn't. Oh well. Now what exactly does that have to do with tennessee's current situation?

Sorry, Dawg fans.

I didn't mean to set the hook so deep.

Ya'll have one thing of note in the past 10 years, and that was 10 years ago.

UGA... 94 - 38... 1 SECC, 3 SECEC'e, 2 BCS bowls, 7-3 in bowls, 7-3 vs UT...

UT...64 - 61... 0 SECC, 1 SECEC's, 0 BCS bowls, 3-3 in bowls, 3-7 vs UGA...

We have a hella lot more of note than UT over the last 10 years... UGA has 3 SECC's since UT's last one...

UGA's longest stretch without a SECC was 20 years, '82-'02... UT is at 17 years & counting...

Wow, we've won 30 more games. I guess I just still think of UT like they were in the old days.

Burn? Seriously? Where did Nick Saban watch the last two National Championship games?

I would say Saban will be sitting in the den watching the game right beside one or two of his recruits in 2016.

So...why haven't you won more, then?

You know, the whole UGA gonna UGA and lose a crap game to take them out of the running every year,

Unlike Tennessee who loses most of their games to take them out of the running every year?

Being dissed by Tennessee is similar to being dissed by Kentucky and Vanderbilt. I get it that you guys seem to be improving. But don't you think you should at least contend for a weak East Division before laughing at a team that beats you yearly?

If it is recruiting...take it to the recruiting board. If he is trolling, then you got nothing. Better keep your trolling limited to Vandy and Kentucky. I wouldn't even try to troll Arkansas if I were you. They are closer to being back than you are.

UGA fans bringing up KY or Vandy is absolutely funny. Sure UGA has 2 more sec titles in the last 33 years than either of them, but is that really something to brag about?

Think about it. UGA only has 2 sec titles since 1983. And they play Vandy and KY every year. That's 2 GUARANTEED wins. I guess when FLA wins 21 of 25 you become irrelevant.

They had 3 single digit victories, including a 3 point win over 3 loss Virginia Tech in the Sugar Bowl and an 8 point win over 6-7, Spencer Pennington-led Bama. They should've been in the title game over Oklahoma. But USC would've run train on them.

The ignorance that is displayed on these boards is overwhelming.

USCw in 2004 had 3 single digit wins also to teams no better than Auburn played. They also barely beat the same VA Tech team before that VA Tech team began to play championship level football.

We know in retrospect Auburn was significantly more talented than USCw 2004. We know USCw was supported by the same media bias that made everyone think the SEC West included 4 of the best 5 teams in the nation this season.

We also know that USCw taking apart Oklahoma meant nothing. Oklahoma 2004 was similar to FSU 2014. Auburn would have played the role of OSU 2014 and USCw would have been Oregon if it had been a four team playoff.

Just like everyone would believe Alabama was the best team in 2014 if it was still a BCS era.

The Auburn bed shittings to USCw were still fresh on voter's mind's. It's hard to catapult a team that held you to less than 170 yard's and didn't allow you to cross your own 35.

What's actually irrelevant is your ability to do math, seeing as how you can't even count properly.

And you are exhibit A

They also barely beat the same VA Tech

Won by 11 on the road (played in maryland but essentially a home game for VA Tech) Also played w/out AA and 1st RDer Mike Williams who was suspended the first 2 games.

quote:

We know in retrospect Auburn was significantly more talented than USCw 2004

WE DO? USC had 2 1st rd picks off that team in 2004... 4 players taken in the top 44.(I know AU had 4 that year) USC also had more players drafted than AU in that particular draft.USC also so had 2 players taken the following year in the 1st rd (also had 4 in the top 45) and 11 players drafted compared to AU's 4.

If you look at the entire roster (USC all classes) they had total of FIFTY FOUR players make NFL rosters.

So to say AU was "significantly more talented the USCw" would qualify as overwhelming ignorance.

Oklahoma 2004 was similar to FSU 2014

Huh? FSU had 7 games with single digit victory margins including unranked BC,Oklahoma State and Florida.Oklahoma steamrolled their way through the Big 12 and beat Colorado 42-3 and the title game and also beat #5 Texas by 12 and only had 2 games with single digit victory margins.Once again, not even close if your comparing the two.

What type of delusional, parallel universe do you live in?How can one even make a statment like this?

Has no bearing on 2004. New OC. Better defense.

We all know that media bias has some affect on the NFL draft. Player profiles are raised, etc…

It is better to look over the long haul at the USCw vs Auburn 2004 NFL careers. The most startling thing you'll find is how many USCw players never made it past a rookie contract. Generally this is seen as a bust and is a result of misdiagnosed ability level.

2004 Auburn vs USCw
The hype machine consistently made USCw out to be a NFL minor league team, but was it more show than substance?

*Contributing Players who played in the NFL from 2004 rosters
Auburn-24
USCw-27

*Total NFL years Played Combine
Auburn-136 years
USCw-104 years

*Total Players Who Did Not Make it out of 3 year NFL Rookie Window
Auburn-5 players
USCw-14 players

*Total NFL Pro Bowls
Auburn-8 Pro Bowls (1 Rookie of the Year)
USCw-9 Pro Bowls

*Total Players Still Active in NFL
(Auburn was an older squad in 2004 having more players drafted earlier 2005-2006 than USCw eventually had more players drafted for the two rosters but Auburn still has more players from those teams in the NFL currently.)
Auburn-11 players
USCw-5 players

So of the 55 players on USC's team that made an NFL roster only 5 are left? Complete BS...I can think of more than that off the top of my head.

USC also leads the NFL with the most active players with 38.
