Seem excessive for a coach at a program that is consistently a Top 10 team every other year and pretty much guaranteed to win 8 games annually doesn't it?

Why does Georgia, year in and year out one of the ten most talented teams in the country get their arse handed to them by somebody? Sometimes teams that have no business beating them. See 2014 Florida.

Thoughts?

2003 SECCG LSU 34-13

2004 Away Auburn 24-6

2006 Home Tennessee 51-33

2007 Away Tennessee 35-14

2008 Neu. Florida 49-10

2009 Away Tennessee 45-19
2009 Neu. Florida 41-17

2010 Away Auburn 49-31

2011 SECCG LSU 42-10

2012 Away South Carolina 35-7

2013 Missouri 41-26

2014 Neu. Florida 38-20

2015 Alabama 38-10

Saban has lost 0 games by 15 or more while at Alabama, just as a comparison.

Almost every single loss Saban has had at Alabama has been 7 points or less, even in the shitty 2007 season.

Mark Richt isn't an elite coach. He's a good coach, sometimes a very good coach. What do you want us to do? Recognize that he's not Saban? Well...

And there's a big difference between Saban and Richt... Or any other coach not named Urban Meyer for that matter.

No one is making the argument that Richt is on Saban's level.

Explain to the group your history with Auburn and how they can whip your arse on occasion when they shouldn't?

Imagine if he had to play Alabama every year.

I don't recall an Auburn team with no QB ever rushing for 400 on Alabama. Or any team come to think of it.

For more comparison, Les Miles has 7 at LSU.

He's lost like 3 or 4 by 14 points. So 2 touchdowns, which is probably a number that makes more sense to use.

Miles has lost 8 games by 14+ at LSU. Richt has been at Georgia 4 more seasons than Miles.

13 games in 15 years certainly isn't great, but it's not downright awful.
