I don't think he is going to win the heisman. Usually the winner gets at least the Doak Walker award for best RB.

He didn't win anything last night. My guess is its between McCoy and Gerhart.

It's been McCoy's since September.

True but I think Gerhart is going to give McCoy a run for his money in the voting. Dude is beast.

I wish that he would, but if not then that's fine with me. I would much rather us bring home the NC (for us, and also for the SEC)

and to the bama fan talking about a 4% lead over Gerhart, Is there any kind of margin for error?

meh, I hate that line of thinking. Unless you've got players from other SEC schools taking the field with Bama, you're not winning shite for the SEC. But we do appreciate the large sums of money that come from revenue sharing.

bama's had to piggy back on everyone else's success for so long they are just praying people will piggy back on their's this year.

First I can't wait for this to be over, I'm tired of all the Gumps obsessing over Ingram and why he's better then all the other candidates. Ingram did not finish as strong as Gerhart period.
McCoy will win because he was chased all game by Suh in the Big 12 Championship receiving 8 sacks plus several major knock downs and still brought his team back to win.

I'm pulling for Suh but McCoy is gonna win it. He's had a great year. Another reason Ingram will not win is because he has not had a Tebow type year as a sophomore.

I agree, Gerhart didn't get stuffed by his rival team for 30 yards for the WHOLE game.

I'm just as big of an SEC homer as anyone else, and if a fan from another conference wants to debate their conference against the SEC, I'll definitely oblige them. However, Bama winning the Nat'l Title is not going to make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside because they're in the SEC. That being said, still not sure who I'm pulling for. Gametime decision.

McCoy will get it as a pity award.

Ingram and Gerhart are far more deserving.

If Ingram doesn't get it, I want McCoy to win it...so the Alabama defense tears every limb from his body.

You don't think bama is in for a let down year next year. Serious question btw, most teams coming off a NC don't have the same drive or determination. I know bama was hungry to get back there this year, but if they win it will they still be just as hungry?

FIFY.

I honestly think that LSU is on the decline until they release Miles from his duties.

I think so also, Au is still one year away in the West, although MSU might make a little noise in the SCEW next year, and Ole Piss is going to drop back towards the bottom where they are use to.
