Anyone ever been there? I've never even heard of it.
I haven't been there, but heard it was a very nice place. An upscale Sports Bar and Restaurant with live music and such. It's on Meridain St. out near A&M.

I don't get out that way much, so probably why I have never heard of it. I will have to check it out some time.

I'm not out that way much myself, unless I'm going to Bennett's Nursery or Across the Pond.

Unless you are an A&M student or live over there, there really isn't any reason to go over there other than Bennett's or Across the Pond.

he definitely was drunk, he had been up at the zone in bridgestreet all night drinking prior to this wreck

This is not true. He was at the Zone in the VIP room bowling for about 2 hours. He ate and bowled.

Glad to see he and his girl friend were unharmed. Ingram seems like a classy guy, so it would be real sad if he would have been hurt.

According to the accident report, both vehicles were traveling southbound on Leeman Ferry Road approaching Metro Circle. As the driver of the semi-truck, Paul Clewis, prepared to turn right onto Metro Circle from Leeman Ferry Road, he reported making a wide turn.

quote:

Clewis told police he turned on his right turn signal about 400 feet from the intersection and then entered the middle turning lane about 200 feet from the intersection. The police report states that Ingram failed to yield right of way to the semi and hit the truck on the passenger side of the cab.

quote:

Huntsville Police said preliminary reports indicate drugs and alcohol weren't involved. According to the police report, Ingram was given a drug and alcohol test. Clewis was also given drug and alcohol tests.

I know exactly the area this was. I used to drive a truck and live here and you can not make any right turns without swinging into the turning lane.

What the hell is over there that MI would be driving there at 1 am? Not insinuating anything, but it is mostly an industrial/c class office space area, right?

I think that restaurant that was mentioned is over there. I believe Donn Jennings, that had the baseball card shop on Metro Circle might have opened it. Not for sure.
