Thanks for the report, barnie. Not sure when you guys will figure out the secret sauce to Bama's success isn't any one of the dozens of assistant who have come and gone under Saban. As long as Saban is in town, Alabama will be signing the best class in the country almost every year.

I believe Pendry is actually a "special consultant" still being paid and still reviewing game/practice film with coaches. He's still involved to some point.

Uhhhh, never said they were going to fall off and be unsuccessful. You guys get really sensitive when you lose a national championship game.

I'd be a little more nervous if our EEs weren't already on campus. As it is, Cristobal's departure doesn't affect this class too much. More impact will be felt next class IMO.

Cristobal was an all-world recruiter in South Florida.

And its the most talent rich area in country...it'll be a little more difficult to get those kids to go Oregon.

Taggart is on fire. Oregon is going to be recruiting better than they ever have before.

Saban needs to open up the checkbook and bring back Jeff Stoutland da gawd.
God, please. Stoutland wasn't that good at recruiting, but our OL didn't take shite from anyone when he was there.

Also wonder if he will call plays.

Taggart calls his plays.

Co-OC with David Reaves, who was the play caller in USF's bowl game. So looks like Reaves will be the play caller if Taggart ever decides to delegate that responsibility

. My guess is Brent Key will be the full-time OL coach now. Last year he did interior line and MC was tackles and tight ends.
This is what I've heard. Excellent coach and great recruiter.
