I did a similar thread on the tiger rant that explained how LSU (since 2002) wins the west 80 percent of the time when it's margin of victory is 14+, and 0 percent of the time when it's MoV is
below 14.

I found that the first (Power 5) OOC opponent and first 3 SEC opponents determined EVERY YEAR whether or not the end of season MoV would be over 14.

So the Goal was to rank the SEC with the same criteria.

If there is a star it denotes that the team did not play a power 5 OOC opponent or they have not played 3 sec teams..

1. LSU 14.25
2. Texas A&M 13.6 (*)
3. Alabama 13
4. Ole Miss 8.6 (*)
5. Florida 8.5 (*)
6. Georgia 5.25 (*)
7. Kentucky 1.75 (*)
8. Tennessee -5
9. Mississippi State -5.6 (*)
10. Arkansas -6.75
11. Missouri -7.3 (*)
12. Auburn -8.3
13. South Carolina -11.5
14. Vanderbilt -14 (*)

Purely based on numbers, LSU beats Florida in the SEC championship game, but loses in the first round of the playoffs.

Last 5 National champs MoV:
2014 OSU 22.8
2013 FSU 39.5
2012 ALA 27.8
2011 ALA 26.6
2010 AUB 17.1
