JJ Watt is a DE.
Hard Knocks - Houston Texans was really good. Love that show. Brian Cushing is a crazy badass too.
I am happy for Dareus. He gets to live out his dream and getting paid very, very well for it.
So do many many others that play in the league. Good for them all.

Damn, that's even more than Vernon Littlefield got.

pretty sure he is considered the best player regardless of position.

Great player, terrible contract.
They had no choice but to pay him. Brady's biggest weakness is pressure up the middle and MD is one of the best in Football at doing that. He's also young. It's a lot of money but they didn't have really any option, they couldn't let him walk. Besides with TV contracts increasing, it's better to sign this now then wait to pay him an extra $25 mill later.

You spelled Suh wrong.

Nope. Most NFL people feel that Dareus is better. And his guaranteed money from Buffalo reiterates that, even if it is only marginally larger than what Suh got.

You somehow think you benefit from an Alabama player getting a contract extension in the NFL.
Admit it. You feel personally gratified for something that has nothing to do with you because they went to a school you cheer for. You think this makes Bama look good and is a positive for the Bama program. Nothing more. It's okay. Just want you to admit it.
I hate bama, but shutup.

Why let something consume you like that? Why the hate?
Go play golf and enjoy yourself.

No it means that Buffalo might think he its better. Or they had no other viable options. Supply is limited, thus can demand more in wages.

Marcel Dareus is 1st team all-pro and can play NT in a 3-4 or DE. He can play DT in a 4-3 and is still relatively young. Congrats to the young man for being the best in the world at his position. Bama's 2008 recruiting class will go down as the GOAT. Julio and Marcel with monster deals and Hightower is up next.

I'm not in the business of lying. Do I like that too? Sure. But my first thought wasn't "Man this makes Bama look great!", it was "There you go Dareus! Get it!".
It's a shame everyone is so fricking negative nowadays.

I wish Amari was with some other team.

Colt paid part of the contract to keep him out of his division

Darius can thank ex LSU tiger and pro bowler Kyle Williams for that contract

What makes you say that?

Another Bama bust cashing in on being over-hyped in college
6-years, $108m, ~$60m guaranteed according to CBS
6-years, $95m, $60m guaranteed, $25m signing bonus according to Sportrac
Maybe he can send some of that money to Trent
