Now that is interesting. Thought blacks and hispanics were pretty much everywhere.

The south from Texas to Florida produces a lot of NFL talent

Black make up 7% of the US population, Mexican about 11%.

Blacks are big time minorities

My county north of Houston is the only yellow dot in a see of orange and red in Southeast Texas...

Active NFL players by state they were born in:
1. California - 225
2. Texas - 192
3. Florida - 180
4. Ohio - 94
5. Georgia - 85
6. Louisiana - 81

Not surprisingly, the top 3 are also among the most populous states in the U.S.
