Actually the A&M defense won the game. Stopped us on the 6.

Yea, I think Tebow only had around 4,000 yards.

How your team finishes is the most important. Alabama clearly isn't #1 after these past 2 games, and unless they get help, won't finish the season ranked #1.

So, I guess Jay Barker's win in the 1992 title game as a freshman really doesn't count as road wins. Miami was #1.

We knew Manziel would score, it was how they stopped us multiple times and forced turnovers that won the game.

I truly hope Manziel gets rewarded for that performance by the most beautiful, amazon, A&M co-ed on that campus. He earned the right to just point to the first one he falls in love with. I know Texas women are beautiful and he oughta get some. That kid won my respect just like Tebow did after the 08 SECC game.

Good point man, the A&M defense definitely played well but Manziel's play forced Us to play an offense that was in panic mode. We weren't able to just pound the run game. Manziel dictated how we called our offense imo.

Barker was a Sophomore in 1992. To my knowledge, a Freshman (True or redshirt) has never started the opening game of the season at QB for bama.

You did? Really? I was told he wouldn't get over 60 yards rushing, that he wouldn't make it out alive, and there was a blue print out there that surely the unstoppable Tide defense could grasp.
