Is it possible to downgrade from Chizik? I guess you could hire Dooley.

I'll always be glad Chizik brought in Malzahn, Newton, and Dyer and got us two alright seasons and a national title.

But his time here is done. And no, we really couldn't have worse leadership.

I would gladly chip in $100 to the Auburn Athletic Department if they keep Chiz.

I'd chip in $101 to make sure they don't.

When we have something new to report, we'll put it on here first. We expect Chizik to be officially let go within 24 hours, probably much sooner. As soon as it's confirmed, we'll have an update.

You return almost every person that contributed on a really young team that won 8 games with a very difficult schedule. The schedule gets a lot easier and you go from winning eight games to winning three and getting your shite kicked in over and over again. If he wasn't fired people would have rioted.

I know, that was my point. Chiz is horrible. They return so many starters and have so much potential and they have a lot of tough games at home, and then they lose 9 games.

with the NCAA snooping around I think it may be tougher unless it is someone unemployed like BP or Nutt..wouldnt that be priceless if it was Nutt

Who in there right mind will come? Dumpster fire on the plains right now with probable ncaa sanctions coming. I promise not a flame guys, I just don't see a good 4 or 5 year stretch for Auburn right now.

Well i dont think you pull the trigger unless you have an option in place.
Thing is,with the backdrop of the NCAA stuff, who you gonna get?
Which brings the question.Did Auburn decide to amputate an arm or leg to save itself?

It's not right. With a break or two Auburn could easily have gone 4-8.

I think BP is their first option but big time donors may have a ground swell movement to keep that from happening. My guess is they have already put out feelers to Gus

Nutt would be a great choice for Auburn. He could come in a sign 39 players - of which about 17 will qualify.

You mean without a break or two.

Auburn probably should have lost the ULM game.

BP? I don't think even the barn would stoop that low for a HFC. Hell, they'd have to disband the cheerleading squad and things like that just to keep BP's "head" in the game
