Kirby did excellent work raking in 2 of GA's top 10 this year

Gus also did a great job raking in 2 of Alabama's top 10.

Seems like Aubies don't like UGA for some reason.

Fair enough, just dont get butthurt when we claim to be a cleaner program since we don't cheat to keep our recruits.

you must not understand how much talent the state of Georgia produces every year. and they only share it with Tech which runs a crappy style offense and really is a down town Atlanta school.

recruiting will not be a problem for Smart nor has it been for his predessesor.

can the man be a HC? remains to be seen.

Damn shame UGA can't get every top 100 player in the state of Georgia

Maybe focus on the Top 10 first.

AU - 3
UGA - 2
UT - 1
USC - 1
UF - 1
CU - 1
ND - 1

They couldn’t even beat Richt. Most people view Auburn fans/grads as a group of castoffs, didn’t want to be Bama fans and couldn’t get admitted to UGA. Those two reason in itself will make you despise a team.

You secured more GA players in 2016 than you have victories against UGA in the last decade. Wow

I completely understand how much talent Georgia produces. I also understand that the guy was coaching Alabama less than a month ago, and hauled in a top ten class at UGA. I guarantee he starts pulling more Georgia talent year in and year out. Where will the poor Aubs go when that happens?

Athens is 72 miles from Atlanta. Auburn is 108 miles. So definitely not.

Is it all interstate from Athens to Atl. like it is from Auburn to Atl.? Hell, I can get from Aub. to Atl. in about 1 hr. and 15 min.

Speaking of the last decade, AU has two SECCs and a National Title. Uga zero on both fronts.

McElwain is not a "disciple" of Saban. He coached under him, yes but he also coached in the NFL, Louisville, Fresno and actually had a head coaching job

You really want to start arguing with them about claiming unwarranted shite?

It's called 316 and can get me to Atlanta in under an hour.

Well to be fair Miami wass in a lot worse shape when Richt arrived than UGA was when left. For whatever it is worth Richt's staff did most of the heavy lifting for this class. Kirby will have his chance next year and quite frankly I doubt he will recruit any better than his predecessor.

In-State recruits aren't that hard to get.

Do you mean Atlanta metro? Athens is practically part of the Atlanta metro. You can't get from downtown Athens to downtown Atlanta in an hour. Maybe at 3am. Maybe.
