They would do the same thing with Bert, but his speeches are just 20 minutes of listing off things he is going to eat later.

a) It was NOT boosters, it was a QB club meeting, fans of MANY schools including the team from Ttown.
Hooper said a record crowd of 225 people for a club meeting enjoyed Malzahn's appearance in large part to Malzahn breaking down game film with a video presentation and showing how the quarterback reads defenses on the read-option.
"He talked to us like he was coaching us," Hooper said. "No one has ever talked to us like that."
Malzahn showed how Auburn sophomore quarterback Jeremy Johnson, a Montgomery native, has improved as a quarterback through the video presentation. Hooper said Malzahn explained he couldn't do the video presentation with the media present.
Hooper said Malzahn answered questions from fans after his speech as featured speakers have done in the past.
"He stayed longer than most people have to answer questions," Hooper said.
ETA: BERT IS FAT

Ahh, my bad. Still not a media event though. It's a private event and should remain so. The pig fans outrage is not justified.

This clown really does need some type of therapy to get over his obsession with Malzahn. His obsession is probably even worse than the rest of the hillbillies from Arkansas

I have no problem with this. Coaches don't seem like real people until the press isn't around because everything they say is recorded and taken out of context. You can't even cuss these days without someone being offended.
