And they can apply with the new OC/DC.

Sorta blows a hole in the Kirby BS about not being able to fire assistants also.

Good point. Time for a TTsTowel alter to take over.

Not really. He probably had to ask Jay Jacobs and Pat Dye before he hit the purge button.

I haven't really been following this too much. Did Foster say he wasn't going to AU if Trooper wasn't there?

Yes. And if that really is the case I'm glad he's not coming to Auburn.

Isn't it SOP to "fire" or let go all assistants and then rehire the ones you want to retain? That's what happened with Franklin.

Not entirely. He said he was committed to AU and now Gus. He said he wanted Trooper to stay and would consider going where Troop goes if he does not stay.

Certainly nothing definite either way.

You keep saying that like we don't know. I'm pretty sure we all know coaches wont commit career suicide.

I love how Auburn waited until Tennessee was rejected for the 1000th time to release this

I think he pretty much had to do this, he couldn't risk having anyone that was loyal to Chizik.

Foster:

quote:

“Right now, I am still committed to Auburn,” Foster said. “If Trooper Taylor stays at Auburn, I am all in. If he goes, I will see where he goes too. I just need to see where he ends up. If he goes to another school, I will go there. Hopefully that school will want me too because I would love to follow him.”
