I've called him a snake so many times on the board it could be classified as German.

Exactly. Those are 2 great frickin QB's he developed. LMFAO. I think the point that should be made here is, Nutt and Petrino are both middle of the road coaches.

Nutt is a wildcard. He coaches his teams up for big games and "moral victories".

If he gets us to ATL in the next 5 years he's ok in my book

I agree. It's just mind boggling that Arkansas fans think Petrino is so much better than Nutt. He has done NOTHING at this point to prove that. I think Nutt is just their escape goat for their unrealistic expectations they put on their football team year after year. They have a hard time digesting that they're just an average football program.

Did he not win a BCS bowl?

Did he not coach in the NFL?

both things Nutt has not ever nor will ever do.

remember boys before Petrino told Auburn where to go he told Ole Miss where to blow.

Louisville

Yes, and failed miserably. Then bailed like the little bitch he is (I'm not a Falcons fan so don't accuse me of being sour.)

Nutt is a College Coach. Like Petrino found out he is.

He went 41-9 at Louisville and won a BCS bowl game with his own players. The 2 years at Arkansas he has been playing with Nutt's players who don't fit his system and now he is getting the recruits he needs to fit his system. If he wins 10-11 games the next 2 or 3 season he will be put up in the top 4 coaches in the SEC. He has a great recruiting staff in place McGee who gets his players almost every time. Caldwell who brought in Calvin Barnett and Byran Jones and the New guy coach Kincovich who has made an impression with several big time recruits. So you gotta give BP time to get his own players in there before you made a call on him.

Nutt stopped recruiting at Arkansas a good two years before he left. SO, he did not exactly leave a lot of quality players there.

Name what you think isn't accurate?

Someone already has but, for emphasis, I'll go again. You said:

quote:

Mallett has an NFL arm.

And Snead doesn't? The issues with Snead have nothing to do with his throwing abilities. He's fine, if not elite in that regard. It's his decision making that's terrible.

quote:

He also has a much better surrounding cast.

Dexter McCluster >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Anything Arkansas has.

quote:

Ole Miss was in the top 5 of most pre season rankings last year.

False. Arkansas and State fans keep saying this which continues to demonstrate that they're either retarded or have terrible memories. Either way, we were not in the top-5 preseason. Google it.

quote:

Snead was in a run dominated offense and when he did pass it was that 10 yd stop route. That is the pass a Houston Nutt offense throws about 90% of the time. I watched it for a long time.

Well you obviously didn't watch it at Ole Miss. When we had Wallace and Oher last season, our offense was perhaps the most balanced offense I had seen in Oxford ever. Only this last season when Oher wasn't there to protect him and Wallace wasn't there to stretch the field did we have to move back into giving Dex the ball primarily.

Look, I also think Mallett is a good quarterback and I do think Arkansas is going to have a good offense this year. Notice, I've refuted none of that. I simply see right through your bullshite, is all.

Fact

Petrino coaching Snead he is a top round draft pic.

Nutt coaching Snead - Did he even get drafted?

Actually, that's conjecture. Facts can be proven with duplicable results, numbers, and other forms of actual evidence.

Here's a hint: if you say "IF blblablablbalabla WOULD HAVE happened then blblabllablablaba also WOULD HAVE happened," then what you're stating is not a fact; it's a fricking GUESS.

Oh, that's right, because there is no such thing as shitty coach in the NFL. Nope. Nor has an NFL coach ever had trouble transitioning into a successful college coach. Not once. Never.

Oh wait...

You can't just take any old a-hole's rankings and say "well, that's their rank." For consistency's sake, when the media or, really, anybody says "so-and-so is ranked #", they're citing either the AP poll or the Coaches poll. Ole Miss was #8 preseason in the AP, #10 in the coaches. It doesn't fricking matter what Sports Illustrated, The Sporting News, or whoever the frick Jon fricking Wilner is has to say, because their rankings aren't the actual rankings that matter or are used in BCS positioning.
