What's laughable? Of the 3 teams I put ahead of auburn, thy lost to one and beat the other two in the final seconds.

It's not far fetched to expect a different outcome, especially considering the venues change.

LSU loses at least two games next year (one is a huge upset per usual)

Since it's "per usual" please tell me these upsets the past 3-4 years

I'll give you Ole Miss 2013

lost at arkansas in 2010. That's the last "upset"

I think lsu problem is they usually don't beat better teams. 2011 was the exception here.

Alabama- Loses one game. Makes it to the SECCG
Arkansas- Finally gets a win against an SEC opponent
Auburn- Loses two games
Florida- Improves over last year. Becomes bowl eligible.
Georgia- Total defense ranks in the top 25.
Kentucky- Gets an SEC win
LSU- loses a wtf game
Mississippi State- 8 wins
Missouri- Somewhat back to reality year. Still good, but loses 2-3 games during the season.
Ole Miss- Beats a ranked opponent.
South Carolina- 2 losses, but SECCG appearance
Tennessee- Disbands their football program. Gets on probation for giving recruits improper benefits. Frick Tennessee.
ATM- 8-4
Vanderbilt- Is not bowl eligible.

LSU lost their starting QB, RB and WRs along with pieces of defense they use. Yes they reload but it will be in Auburn and Auburn is only improving

Bama is losing serious pieces as well at QB/OL as well as some on defense. Will be a good game

Mississippi State game was our first SEC game and third overall, we clearly were not gelling at that point like we were at the end of the season. Also our defense will be improved

If you are arguing that we go 0-3 in those game, you are fricking crazy

Ok. Let's point out the lsu losses but not auburn losing their two best player offensively

well it was close to happening in your SECCG year, so no, it's not fricking crazy to think a bounce might go the other way in these games this year. You act like Auburn is a dominant force, and they simply are not

West
-------
LSU wins this bitch and the SEC.
Alabama loses three games.
Auburn loses three games.
Dak Prescott engineers a win over Auburn and jumps in the Heisman race. But State can't get another big win and finishes 8-4 or 9-3.
Ole Miss has a disappointing 7-5/8-4 season.
Arkansas wins an SEC game.
Gay&M goes 6-6 and sneaks into a low-tier bowl.

East
-------
Tennessee is in the championship picture.
Georgia wins the championship by tiebreaker over Tennessee
South Carolina continues to make UGA its bitch.
Florida goes 7-5. Natives get restless.
Missouri struggles to get to 6 wins.
Kentucky goes 0-8.
Vandy goes back to being not-quite-doormat Vandy and beats Kentucky and Ole Miss for their only SEC wins.

Auburn's replacements are much, much easier to...well, replace.

Greg Robinson replaced by 5***** Shon Coleman, Tre Mason replaced by Cam Artis-Payne, Racean Thomas, Peyton Barber, and Corey Grant.

Plus, Auburn returns the majority of it's team and adds talent. They will compete for the SEC West title again.

The SEC West becomes so tough that nobody ends up with less than three losses. I have Ole Miss taking the division, and facing off with Tennessee who takes advantage of a middling Eastern division and comes away with TWO losses, beats OM in the SECCG and makes the playoff. FSU wins the championship again in a battle of the first and last BCS winners, Yeldon wins the Heisman after racking up really good numbers to start the season while Coker adjusts to the new offense.

Why is that? LSU brings in a top ranked recruiting class with several highly rated WR and a highly rated RB to go with Magee. I'd say their RB situation is better than Auburn's going into next year.

You can point out how difficult it is to replace a QB, but the last decade has sort of blown that argument out of the water. The two NC QB participants this ear were first eyar starters. Mcelroy and McCarron both won it all as first year starters.

I'm able to fathom auburn going undefeated next year, but i'm able to fathom them losing 4 games too. Bringing back a lot of talent doesn't always equal repeated success. See bama 2010

5 out of the last 6 NCG's were won by a first year starter.

Edit: 4 out of 5.

Auburn is returning a RB who averaged 6.7 YPC and 9.8 YPC both who who had 600+ yards. We also are bringing in a 5* RB who fits our system very well

Did you see Jennings in their Bowl game? QB is a huge dropoff that isn't adequately being replaced. At WR, you are losing two ALl SEC type WRs and replacing with freshmen. That is a massive change
