Bama didn't play a top 10 team on a neutral field.
Bama didn't play a road game against the #2 team.
Bama won't play a top 15 team on a neutral field.

So if you forget about almost a quarter of LSU's schedule, they are equal. Idiot.

And the fact we beat bama and bama didn't beat lsu at bama. And really our best win, yes a better win than the bama win to me.

We beat bama, we beat bama

LSU has been very impressive and deserves everything they're getting but their schedule is identical to Alabama's other than the Oregon game.

You forgot that LSU beat #2 Alabama on the road. That's a pretty good win too, and I don't think Bama has a win to match it.
Well done. Apparently Bama's lone loss slipped his mind. That seems to be contagious among that fanbase.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Oregon could potentially represent the Pac-12 in a BCS bowl and there's an off chance that West Virginia could represent the Big East in a BCS bowl. Both are going to be in bowl games, but it's a question of which ones. Western Kentucky is also bowl eligible.

Meanwhile, Bama has only played one out of conference team that is bowl eligible and that's Penn State. Penn State is out as far as BCS bowl consideration goes. Don't even start comparing Kent State and North Texas to Western Kentucky and Northwestern State. If anything, compare Georgia Southern to Northwestern State. Oh I forgot. Bama gave up 21 points to Georgia Southern.

Is it a flame when the premise is so utterly ridiculous that everyone now considers him a huge idiot and has destroyed his credibility? By extension, you have lost all credibility--that is how stupid his "flame" was. If you are going to flame, at least do something smart like, say, 9-6.

That score in OT is helping Bama quite a bit with the human polls. No one outside of a few crackpots are disputing that LSU is #1. There's not a lot of talk about LSU's missed opportunities in that game because LSU won that game. Instead, the discussion is about Bama's missed field goals, the blocked field goal, and the big interception. While I'd rather not beat a dead horse, let's revisit the November 5 game.

1) LSU was forced to switch quarterbacks during the game. This is a testament to Alabama's defense getting to Jarrett Lee and ending his run as the starting QB for LSU. Jordan Jefferson had not had a lot of playing time to run the entire LSU playbook, but still performed well. If Reuben Randle had not dropped an easy pass in the end zone during regulation, we wouldn't be talking about the OT win.

2) Those missed field goals were by no means easy field goals. I think most rational college football fans, Bama fans included, get this. It's asking a lot of college placekickers to hit field goals from around 50 yards out. While you would expect professional placekickers to hit those kicks, those still aren't easy for them and nor are they a given. The reason why successful 50+ yard field goals are celebrated is because that's a long distance. This comes down to coaching. Saban had faith in his defense, but still wanted points. I expect Bama to punt in those situations in a hypothetical rematch game.

3) LSU was in the red zone more than Bama. You have to look at LSU's missed opportunities here to break the game open in regulation. However, I do give Bama's defense credit in making those stops. What is true is that LSU had more red zone scoring opportunities than Bama did.

No flame. You can't claim that UO is the ONLY difference between the teams. There's the little matter of the head-to-head record.

at #21 Penn State is no worse than at #23 West Virginia

Well we know Western Kentucky is better than North Texas because WKU beat them. WKU would also beat crappy Kent State.

West Virginia probably beats Penn State as well but sure that is even.
