Makes sense. Only lose 6 starters. I guess that means Alabama will be better on defense too.

2nd year with Aranda. Mostly junior/senior defense.

Will be a reload not a rebuild.

Probably will be the same for Alabama

You can credit Bo Scarborough, the Alabama defense, and missed holding calls for even getting 10 points.

Hmmm, replace Alabama's runningback, how is this year any different than the last 6 games?

Alabama will not be as good on defense as last year. We certainly won't be "better". LSU certainly won't be "better" either. That's silliness.

Still pretty good? Sure.

LSU having a competent offense? That's what the whole thread is about. 2016 would've been much different with Canada at OC.

He's a junior.

Once he's done with rehab he'll be ready to go. If he isn't, there's Sci Martin, Ike Washington, K'Lavon Chaisson, etc

That wasn't one of your three points that you noted would be so much different.

You still wouldn't have been able to block us or throw the ball downfield or have a QB who can evade pressure. It doesn't matter how many shifts or motions you run, if you can't block and you can't throw we are going to eat your lunch.

Hell yea
I would think both teams will improve considering they were breaking in first year DCs last year. You disagree?

Common sense? Upgrade at OC probably means they'll score more points.

LSU would not have lost to Auburn, Wisky or Florida.
The Bama Game would have been very winnable.
LSU would have been in the Playoff

If your hypothetical includes: Les Miles being fired at the end of 2015, Canada hired early enough to install his offense in the spring, and Etling winning the starting job from day 1, then I agree we would have won the Auburn, Wisc, and Florida (whether in BR or in the Swamp) games. Being in the playoffs would have been dependent on beating Bama.

So you don't think Canada would have improved LSU's offense last year? What about this year?

When LSU drops 35+ on Auburn this year, what will you say?

The same defense that held Alabama to 10 points was getting 40 dropped on them by QB-less Auburn? Wtf are you smoking?
