That's why he brought in Cam Cameron and that's why we're shifting to an uptempo attack.

LSU Board of Supervisors approved Cam Cammy's contract this week. $3.4 mil over 3 years.

Cameron will have free rein.

Kind of like "Ole Miss is going to win something that amounts to more than jack shite this year!"

And what did LSU accomplish last year? Besides embarrassment

I cannot wait for SEC play. Defenses will WAY underprepare for what LSU brings to the table in 2013.

I'm not sure if that's the author's term, or Coach Cameron's. Either way, hopefully the O will be taylored to what we have, then we'll see.

You Runts would trade your red Dockers for an "embarrassing" 10-3 season.

Losing to an ACC team doesn't constitute embarrassment? I'd be pretty embarrassed.

Whoa buddy. That " shite offense" lit you up last year. The DEFENSE lost that game.

Sorry to be that guy but I disagree.

The offense had a chance to put the game away in the 4th quarter.

And as with nearly every conference game (Florida being the notable exception for obvious reasons) last year, the offense failed to use its last possession to pad the lead and put the game further out of reach.

Our last two possessions (prior to AJ taking the lead back) resulted in a turnover on downs and a missed field goal. We drove the ball into their territory but didn't score.

Blame the defense if you like but if you review the game logs of LSU's conference games last year you'll see over and over where the offense failed to finish teams off in the 4th quarter and left the door open. Happened against A&M, Carolina and Auburn as well. And most noticeably in the bowl game against Clemson.

quote:

The Tigers held a seemingly comfortable 11-point lead [over Clemson] in the fourth quarter, but managed just 1 yard of offense in the final 15 minutes

Don't blame the defense for last year's losses when the offense over and over again hit the wall in the 4th quarter.

For the record, Clemson was by far better than any team Ole Miss managed to beat.

I like your coach and all, but please do us all a favor, and stop bringing your wet dreams to a fact fight.

I think it will take a few games to iron out the kinks, but by the latter half of the season, you're going to see LSU's offense start to roll....

the skeptics on here obviously haven't been watching the LSU play-calling the last few years, but its been draining on LSU fans....

to add to this thread, expect the defense to "reload" instead of "rebuild"....a lot of people will be surprised.

Is this LSU's Gus Malzahn? Are they building up Cammy Cam to ease Miles out if LSU doesn't improve this year?

Not nearly as embarrassing as 3 SEC wins in the last 2 years.
