Not surprised you've failed to comprehend how all of this works even though it's been posted hundreds of times on a message board you frequent daily.

Do you smoke pot throughout the day? Between this and you actually thinking RB10 was a UGA fan I have to wonder how you make it through life day to day. Not trying to be an a-hole...

I actually think the offense does change this year. I'm interested to see what it looks like this fall. I don't put much stock in how things look in the spring usually, but I do expect some changes this time.

Should be a interesting season.

I present the word "tendency" for consideration. The meaning is important. A limited, inflexible, old, coach usually has a hard time overcoming his past ESPECIALLY when he has never done it any other way, ever.

So now suddenly LSU with the best running back in the history of the game ever generational unstoppable sure-fire Heisman winner ...and with a QB that needed a "hernia operation" (which was actually an operation to install a pair) is going to "emphasize the passing game?"

It is no troll to say... uhhhhhhhhhhhh

The guy (forgot his name) that only got like 30 yards against Bama? That's a Heisman contender?

Wow. I thought LSU needed a better RB last season. From what I saw, he sucked donkey dick.

Serious question.....Do you actively try to be incorrect in every single post you make, or is it a side effect of being stupid?

not anywhere close asshat. your bias is typical; it lacks facts.

Louisiana's problems when it comes to per capita stats is the same as other southern states and yes, even texas. there is a large segment on the bottom. before you call me a racist that segment is not all African americans but the facts are that there percentage is pretty high. in texas there is a huge amount of high school dropouts (I think the largest in the country) and many of the bottom socioeconomic segment are either African americans or Mexican americans or just plain Mexicans (and central americans).

yes, dallas and Houston have lots of wealth due primarily to oil and gas (but airlines and pharma also) but the per capita incomes of the two states are not that far apart.

i'm not knocking texas but to think "everything is bigger and better" is merely propaganda that for some strange reason many yokels accept as fact. if any states can brag about "bigger and better" it would be new York and California.

The fighting on this thread earlier was probably the most pathetic thing I've ever seen.

Not trying to be an a-hole, but y'all can't afford air conditioning or roads. How can you afford to buy out Les AND pay a new coach a competitive salary?

Its probably been explained a million times.... But:

LSU has plenty of money for athletics. The state is broke not the athletic department or private donors.

Alleva raised private funds for the 15+ million dollar buyout last season, not a dime from the state, school, or AD.

The athletic department pulled in 133 million while only spending 120 million last year.
That includes paying our already highly paid football staff and picking up the tab to run every other sport.
We then gave 7 million back to the school and still have money to spare.
Not to mention we could just just fund raise and not spend those millions left over anyway.

Most athletic departments take money from the school to break even. We pay the school and still have money to play with.
Hell, bama makes more than we do and still accepts money from the university, id take just not having to pay the university

WhataBurger should feel free not to empty the mustard jar on 1 burger. Truly bad food in Texas. Tex Mex food is not very good, They fire up the grill, and ruin their barbeque with the bad sauce, and lack of seasoning.

Well, If Les Miles is going to install an innovative triple threat, play-action, multi-direction, "sling-it," spread, no-huddle, offense this year, then maybe "Louisiana barbeque" will surprise us.

Seriously, "barbeque" and "Louisiana" should never appear in the same sentence.

We will run the ball 65% of the offensive plays.

The questions are, can the line give Harris time, can Harris get the ball near his target, & can the recievers make the tough catches when he doesn't put it in their hands. These are the things that need to improve.

Harris was not good last season(I'd grade him a C-) but the line was horrific in pass protection and his recievers need to help him and make the catches.

So Fournette's 1450 yards gained before the Alabama game, and 400 yards gained after the Alabama game just like............never happened ???????????????????????????????????

And 'from what I saw', Alabama stuck 8 or 9 in the box on every play. Jim Brown could not have gained any yards with the defense you played. We essentially had 5 linemen blocking 8 or 9 players.
We also did not have two of our best other blockers -John David Moore and Dillon Gordon, who had played a big role in our running game during our 8-0 start.

Fournette had 19 carries, but had Harris not thrown that telegraphed INT early in the 3rd quarter, we may have been able to loosen up the defense and run the ball more.
