5 in a row and we gave you Steele. I almost feel bad for L5U. Almost.

I mean, you can use all the cute memes you want, but the defensive front is so thin we can't compete. That is definitely on Chavis and Brick. They failed at managing their part of the roster.

Cam and Steele both need to go asap along with most of the offensive staff

I said this last night. I'm fine with everyone on the offensive side going except for Wilson.

I'm disappointed about Ball, though. He did such a good job at Georgia, and I was expecting a lot out of his group.

Or is it Brick on Chavis?

The only explanation is Les meddles with the offense and his understanding of modern offenses is about 20 years outdated

No............I think it's execution at this point, which is, frankly, much more disturbing.

I'll forgive the defense due to depth, but they've got to show something next year.

The offense is toast. Cam shouldn't be coordinating next year unless he's willing to take about a 60 percent pay cut.

I thought offensively CLM's game plan was fine. I know he caught some flak last week for not throwing the ball more. This week it was a mixture of run and pass and at times they executed well. LF7 seemed to have more success running the ball when they were able to weave in some passes. Now Harris wasn't able to execute that well particularly toward the latter part of the game but it's hard playing behind and the defense basically could just play to defend the pass heading down the stretch. The defense really put Harris in a position where he was having to hurry and wasn't going to be able to be most effective passing.

The big plays hurt and I really don't know what the offense could have done differently since they were having to play catch up for most of the game. I'd put the loss squarely on the shoulders of the defense.

That last drive in the first half was perfect. I don't know what's going on with this team, they are just not executing well the last two weeks.

It's inexplicable.

Actually I don't care much for the conclusion that LSU's defense has taken a step backwards. That demeans the talent and effort on our part.

I mentioned this on the Score Board, but if you look at Steele's career, he doesn't really have that much experience running a defense. He'd always been a position coach when he was named HC at Baylor. Alabama in 2007 was actually his first coordinating job. Then he was DC at Clemson after Saban demoted him.

So, obviously this means he's still learning on the job. Give him time. Plenty of time.

Your ex head coach wouldn't shake Miles hand after blowing him out the water. Boring and predictable though.
