The year before Saban. Exactly the point I was making.

I agree that LSU gets to 5 wins next year.

5 wins over the Aggies in as many tries, that is.

Following the 1999 season, and after their worst ten-year period in history, LSU was:

Ranked #17 in all-time win%. A&M was ranked #23.

26-19-3 versus Texas A&M.

So as bad as you want to make LSU seem pre-Saban, A&M was still worse.

Keep it up, it's a scream.

Before Saban? 3 ten win seasons in 40 years. Less than one per decade, which is their honest to goodness potential.

Nothing to do with the schedule expanding from 10 to 12 games.

I think LSU goes 8-5 with a bowl win at best next year. Most likely 5-7

Easy Wins:
McNesse, Syracuse, Eastern Michigan, Western Kentucky, and Texas A&M

So we're going to go against 0-7 @MSU, Auburn, @USC, UF, @Bama, Arky, and @Ole Miss?

They shot their wad with the Kenny Hill overreaction early in the year. No one cares about them now, they get attention starting threads about LSU

And still, they beat the aggies like a rented mule. Oh the obsession with the master.

But somehow in the midst of all the decline we still have a better record than TENN.... Worry about being in the bottom half of the SEC east.....
