Something you forgot to mention is that LSU will have 3 or 4 losses by the time they play MSU. They may have already thrown in the towel by that point.

37-7 has the LSU fans all hot and bothered

No not one bit. It's the same thing most years. State fans think they stand a chance because of some previous success, only to see LSU push their shite in once again. Rinse and repeat.

ITT, it seems to me that LSU fans are the ones relying on past success for hope. LSU hasn’t “pushed their shite in” in half a decade whereas State did it last year

2017- 37-7 State
2016- 23-20 LSU
2015- 21-19 LSU
2014- 34-29 State

The only thing the current LSU players know is that State raped their arse last year after barely beating them the previous 2 seasons

Honestly I melted harder over this than Troy. Troy was actually pretty good last year.

In time, you will know what it's like to lose. To feel so desperately that you're right. Yet to fail all the same. Dread it. Run from it. Destiny still arrives. - Joe Thanos Moorhead

All you State guys are deluded. I already posted that the only reason you guys did so well was because both of our lines were decimated and Guice was hurt.

But think about this. The team you beat 37-7 (and the one Troy beat at the same point in the schedule) finished with a 6-2 SEC record. You finished with a 4-4 SEC record. Any idea how that is even possible? Here is a hint: we actually were decimated by injuries, etc. on both lines. When people came back/freshmen got a few games of game experience, we won all the rest of our reg season games except Bama. We are going to beat you guys this year (like usual).

Not as good as S. Alabama has been the last two seasons...

I can see why. 30 points to a shitty State team? Damn. Imagine what it will be like now that we should be even better this year.

That’s a long post to say that we beat you because our team was better. It will be again in 2018

Maybe because you got to play Tennessee from the east instead of Georgia? Maybe because we shite the bed against Ole Miss? It happens. You know what else happened? 37-7.

You do realize that even if we both played Georgia (and we lost) we still would be 5-3 and you still would be 4-4. Doesn't change my point any at all.

I can't believe how many of you are buying this

Let me save you some time, we suck, have a retard for a coach, will probably lose at least 7 games (including to State).

But I am getting a kick out of how many State fans think they aren't going to take a step back and actually improve now that Mullen is gone.

Our seasons ended up being quite similar. We played a lot better than y'all over the second half of the regular season. But y'all had an impressive bowl game. It should be a tight game in BR.

History tends to repeat itself. Last year was an anomaly. LSU scored first, but the TD was called back due to a penalty. Whether or not it was the right call or not is irrelevant. It set the tone. Throw in a slew of injuries during and leading into the game on both lines (two starting DT's injured, three true freshmen Oline had to start, and a nicked up RB) the fact that Key had not played in a single game up to that point, and LSU had a new offense built on motion and other BS and it was a recipe for disaster.

This year it's back to restoring the order. State, you had your fun. It's time to resume your place in the pecking order.
