I like offenses that have balance and employ ball control. Time of possession is key in games like this. Alabama has been doing that all year. Lots of three-and-outs by the defense (actually lead the country in that category) and long drives by the offense. I'll take that every time. Shorten the game.

Oh hey man. Welcome aboard.

I've no dog in the fight, so I just cannot wait to see 2 teams play at such a high level. Playing Bama and LSU was a huge wake up call for most Gator fans. We're still 2 years away from reaching the level that LSU and Bama are at.

Can we help it if we are constatly being given the ball on our opponents side of the field?

Man, I thought Alabama fans were supposed to be "knowledgeable" about football.

I guess y'all are all the young Saban era bandwagon sidewalk fans.

You'll learn.

Hmmm...LSU's drives start on average at LSU's own 31.6 yard line. Bama's offense starts at our own 29.1. Not much difference in field position there between us. I can understand your inability to justify LSU's 84th offensive ranking as opposed to Bama's rank at 41.

You'll learn though, right?

It started out as Florida's opinion on the defences the've faced and just turned into a wildfire in witch i was one of the fans with the match in hand on the grassy knoll.

All I'm learning is bama has one sucky schedule, runs up stats on patsies, and doesn't rest starters when they are up. Whatever floats your boat I guess.

Serious question, do you honestly believe Bama has a much better offense than LSU?

ROTC87 LSU vs Bama for Gator Fans I think it's funny when people try to spin the loss to both teams; it's simple people. Bama had Florida at 100% i'll say it again 100%, LSU did not.

West Virginia and Oregon are better than Florida...we beat both convincingly. Your great win is over a young Florida team. Keep thinking you are going to kill us...we carry a much larger chip on our shoulders.

Not much to hang your hat on, but it still means a little bit. We need to recruit more tough arse players like Bama and LSU have. Urban Meyer recruited so many finesse type players on O and D, it has set us back. Sure we have a lot of 4 and 5* talent, but who gives a shite when you're that afraid to hit someone. I like the direction of the program in general. We can still make our goal which is win the East, but how we finish out the recruiting class is more important to me, because whoever we play in the West, it's gonna be an arse kicking again.

McCarron went off on Vandy and LSU on Kentucky; my money would be on Vandy to beat the shite out of Kentucky this year. If you want to talk about production of QB.

Actually it's over a 5-1 Arkansas team ranked #10 in the country. And Penn State continues to win too. They're 5-1.

No I don't, I think both are scarily similar. I just find it funny that LSU thinks they are miles ahead of where they were last year offensively, and that's just not the case.

Maybe it's just being rid of Crowton that inflates their opinion of the 2011 offense?

it's hard to argue with Urban's success at UF, but I agree with this. Too much finesse type players. Boom has to keep the future Trent Richardson's in Gainesville.

Trust me, our offense is miles ahead of last year. Still not great, but last year we were horrible.
