We aren't a rival to Alabama. It's just a fact. That being said, year in and year out we are two teams that consistently compete at a high level and when we play bludgeon the ever-loving shite out of one another.
I hate Alabama for the sidewalker fans, but I respect the product that they put on the field. Tonight the score didn't fall in our favor, and I find that incredibly dissatisfying, but I'll not take anything from their victory. Perhaps we could have done more to secure victory -- but we didn't. At this point, as much as I hate to add to their (absurd) claim of 14 national championships, I recognize that they present the best chance to keep the crystal football where it belongs and certainly hope that they do so.
Great game, guys. I will hate you building up to the game and during the game, but I will never marginalize you afterwards. That's respect. And I assume that the same will be offered to us.

Our biggest Rival since the beginning of the SEC has been Ole Miss...it was strategically played on the weekend of or after Halloween. This game was specifically moved to that spot.
You want bad blood...21-0 in the Dome in our back yard...a former coach leading the opponent. You want it from them too...we have ended similar hopes to their seasons. 2005's Croyle led squad coming in undefeated..leaving with an "l".
The rosters of these teams were all recruited by each team for the most part. Each team looks at that squad on the other side like they think they are better than their respective opponent.
You're fools if you don't think this is a rivalry. You think UGA/UF is a rivalry...win something UGA. UF has dominated you in that series the last 30 years worse than Bear dominated LSU. If you win the east, you lose the sec title game, if you win the sec title you lose in a bcs bowl that doesn't matter. Wasn't this your year to win a NC?
Try being relevant in January and then talk about rivals. Auburn is everyone's rival apparently. Just cause you have played them more than anyone else, you think that legitimizes it more than another match-up?
