They're counting on Brennan to start though right?

Ainias Smith, Moose Muhammad, Jalen Preston and Evan Stewart are all at practice with no issues. Which "best receiver" are you referring to?

“Demas sucks he has no touchdowns”

“Demas was their best receiver!”

Lsu fans are a dumb bunch

It'd probably hit a little harder if three of those guys had more than 37 career catches combined.

Ainias Smith had 47 catches (led the team), try again.

Preston has 28 career catches, Muhammad has 10. You fail again even after the edit. You can't even move the goalposts right

Muhammad and Preston combined for 6 touchdown catches last season. Smith had 6. Last I checked, 12 TD catches > 1 (Demas).

You should probably try to read a little harder.

How about you try again?

Speaking of lack of awareness. I even shite on your edit.

Excuse me, my bad.

It'd probably hit a little harder if three of those guys had more than 38 (corrected from the incorrect 37) career catches combined.

Color me shocked that a local sports guy is pumping up LSU. I didn't see that coming.

I honestly do believe this is an upgrade for us but that’s not to take anything away from Max Johnson.

Both Max and Jayden are good fits in a Kelly/Denbrock offense. Jayden is the more explosive player and has a much higher ceiling.

If Johnson can go 27 td to 6 picks with our talent, I have every confidence that JD can do even better with an improved Oline and running game.

One fact that gets left out is that JD didn’t have a dedicated QB coach after his freshman year. Now he will have three coaches (Kelly, Denbrock and Sloan) involved with his development AND he’s a grad transfer so basically his whole job is football.

Daniels is an interception machine and played against weak Pac defenses. Johnson had nearly 3 times as many touchdowns against the best defenses in college football.

Johnson also threw the ball more in the lsu offense and had 5 stud receivers.

He won't have that at arse&m.
I'll bet anything you want that he doesn't throw 27tds

This!

LSU will have two legit QB's on the roster at the same time that are each seeking a graduate degree. Not sure I've ever seen that before. It's safe to say the one who wins the job will not be able to rest on his success as the other has countless amounts of time, resources, and motivation to retake that position. That kind of competition can not be anything but good news for the team as a whole, and would not have been the case had Johnson stayed and LSU not gotten Daniels.

Mascona is correct in this sense, as Johnson will be a full time student with less time on his hands than Daniels, and Johnson is walking into a situation where he has less WR talent around him than he had in 2021. Daniels will have more time, more recourses, more coaching, and more WR talent around him than he's ever had in his career. Should be fun to watch if both Brennan and Daniels are on the roster in September.

This guy has as bad a takes as most of the LSU posters in this sight. It’s like a match made in Heaven.

Too funny

Every team has their homer sports writers. LSU posters are the only ones that brings those homer/biased articles to the rant to brag about.

Ainias Smith:

Kayshon Boutte, the leading LSU receiver they all jerked off to when he didn’t bail like everyone else:
