My God... Bama will inflict so much pain in this year's Iron Bowl... All of that frustration, unleashed on those defenseless Tiggers.

And you guys will beat the dog-shite out of Boise in the Sugar Bowl if you show up motivated.

just beat the frick outta BSU so maybe next year we won't hear anymore of that bullshite b/c it will be clear what happens when they face a great SEC team in a bowl game. not some big game choklahoma or other chumps.

LSU up and coming, just like Florida was up and coming in the 80's and 90's. Bama has been off and on since Bear. Bama still owns wins against losses for all of ya. Football was football before LSU won Saban's first title, he brought ya'll back, not the other way around, deal with it
Posted on 11/6/11 at 3:17 am to 2close2Gainesville
yeah and we're what 8-2 the last 10 against bama? like i said, this ain't the 70s anymore.

oh and in case you didn't realize, that aflac trivia question tonight about 2 LSU coaches with at least 4 wins over bama was our last 2 coaches. I'll take 9-3 over the last 12 over dominance 30 years ago.
Posted on 11/6/11 at 3:24 am to LSUROCKS52
and Saban had 4 of those wins brotha, like I said, LSU is up and coming, like Florida did back then, just needed the right coach. Spurrier brought Florida up in the SEC, Saban brought LSU to prominence, and it continued to the next great coach, enjoy it.
Doesn't change the fact that Bama still owns wins over every SEC team, even in our down years, the SEC conference has just improved as a whole in certain areas.

Auburn has absolutely no chance in hell of beating Alabama - book it.

You forgot to mention Ole Miss.

it's all about match ups. south carolina is a very good team. Petrino just has Spurriers number. I never doubted we would win one time last night.
miles has sabans number. they just aren't a good match up for bama. lsu is the exact type team that gives bama fits
and as much as lsu fans won't admit it.. Arkansas is a nightmare match up for lsu.
south Carolina is the number 3 , or had the number 3 passing defense int he country and we did whatever we wanted for the most part in the air last night. if you don't think arknasas has a chance on black friday you are crazy. (though honestly I think lsu wins a very close fought game, we just don't have the running game)

Arkansas always plays LSU tough. But this year is not a "nightmare matchup" Arky has some serious offensive weapons.....but those weapons won't see the field too much since Arky's D absolutely sucks against the run. LSU will probably pound the rock 60 times to control the possession. LSU may not throw the ball 10 times. And when Arky does get the ball you can expect them to have the same throwing the ball that they had against Bama.
