LSU opens with three home games in three straight days vs three different opponents? Odd.

They generally invite a couple of in-state schools and military academies and make it a military appreciation weekend.

solid idea... the expense of traveling in by the visitors for just one game sounds unique, I guess they pick up games in the region while in LA?

This article explains how opening weekend at the Box works. It is kind of a round robin.. and yes the teams from out of state usually schedule other games in the region.

Such garbage. Worst addition out of all the conference expansions in any conference.

“Alex Box” is a former LSU athlete and WW2 Purple Heart recipient.

If Morris doesn't improve you can add football to hoops.

It’s 20 for the band and that includes 2 drinks. It’s 6 for any drink after that.

Very much hope Ole Miss will follow suit at Swayze, though I guess they technically couldn't sell beer in the parts of the stadium actually on campus, but I'm sure it'd go over swimmingly in the outfield

frick Sankey and his moronic anti-alcohol stance, especially when the availability of in-game booze likely would help curb binge drinking before and after games. You could chug a pint of liquor before going into the stadium or arena, or you could wait 20 minutes in line for a watered down, questionably cold stadium beer. Which is one leads to more drunken misbehavior?

It’s just a matter of time before beer sales are approved in the SEC Stadium-wide.

That said, I’ve been saying that for 5 years and it still hasn’t happenned.

LSU is doing its best to work within/around the rules though with The Chute in TigerStadium and now this similar thing at The Box.

Actually, Alex Box was killed in North Africa fighting in WWII. I want to say he was the first LSU student killed the war but am not sure. He was 22 yrs old.

This should help LSU fans build some confidence about their team. Something they're usually lacking at the Box.**
