I tend to think so

Although I do believe it was well intended by Miles

LSU threw 9 passes in 2011.

Eta: it was actually 8.

Mett called his own number on the naked bootleg and ran it to the one (or possibly scored). Miles was pissed and made him take a knee. His plan was to run the ball out but not score prior to the bootleg.

Similarly in 08 Jevan Snead bootlegged and almost scored then Ole Miss kneeled three straight times on the one. It would've only been two knees but the LSU defensive end got mad and punched Michael Oher.

I didn't know that happened with 5 minutes left with the score 52-3.

There was two and half minutes or so and the score was 31-13. That's why I said similarly not the same. Silly Cajun

You may be good this year. You may even get some payback for 2011.
BUT you will never be able to kneel the ball in Tiger Stadium with more than 5 min left in the game leading by 7 scores.

Never.

We will see just how good you are. I wouldn't be shocked one bit to see this game begin your inevitable reality check.

To LSU's defense, they ran the ball the entire second half not trying to run up the score, yet the Ole Miss D could not stop anything.

I think we only threw the ball 8 times all game. No way that game wasn't getting ugly, but that happens when one of the teams has the best ever team, and the other has their worst team ever.

Dick move...
The proper thing to do wouldve been to just run the ball... If you score you score... No fancy reverse just plain runs, if ole miss can't stop you so be it...

But that was a slap in the face school yard move to kneel...
Houston nut deserved it though that scum bag... Thats what happens when you put in zero effort and lose a locker room

Should have scored here so he could try to apply the touchdown to this year's game since the offense he was now won't be able to get any for themselves this Saturday.

Miles starts running the clock out after he kicks the first field goal. This is no dick move, its how he rolls.

It wasn't a dick move. That Ole Miss team had quit for Nutt. Anyone who saw them get off the bus and walk through the Grove knew LSU could name the score. Shows Miles is a class act.

Well I can't say which one is better, but I definitely know which one your mom would choose: taking to her knees.

Is your response really necessary? The man asked a simple question and you respond by talking about his mother..

It was an outstanding display of how to make a statement with class. I loved it. I hate to see running up the score, and this is how you show the world that you know how to handle success.
