I heard ya. I have a final next week so I've studied my arse off these past couple weeks just so I can go.

Mississippi State was the better team, plain and simple.
Why all the downvotes? Last year MSU was better. They were better in the head to head and they had a better record.
This year, I think LSU has the edge, but the logic that LSU will win simply because MSU rarely beats them back to back seems dubious.

MSU has better coaching and player development.
Besides Mett who was a transfer at QB, LSU still can't recruit a QB.
Haven't had good QB development since Jimbo Fisher was still calling plays.
All of those guys developed into studs.

yep, that has really slowed us down to reaching 2 BCS championships, winning 2 SEC championships, and going 81-25 since Jimbo. meanwhile in Starkville....
