Nobody "likes" watching LSU.
For instance more people watched the A&M/Bama game last year than the LSU/Bama game

I can't speak for the rest of the country, but I personally fu(king hate LSU sports.
They're pretty much my least favorite team in the country.

But Alabama is the most-watched SEC team going back the past several seasons according to tv ratings.
The only time LSU shows up in the top 10 or 15 highest tv ratings games is when they play Alabama.
Alabama usually has 3 or 4 games that are in the top 10-15 most watched.

LSU never was dominant. People then are indifferent. Dominant teams are loved or hated. LSU never fit that criteria.
Note...maybe baseball u could make that argument in which case america doesn't really care but I assume we are talking football and LSU and dominance doesn't go together.
