Am I reading something wrong when I see that LSU played UK in 2011? What the hell? And the bitching is about Bama now getting them in 2013? Tell me I'm reading the schedule wrong.

Why don't you look at the rest of LSU and Bama's schedule from 2011?

Fair enough because I stopped as soon as I saw y'all played UK. Argument lost steam with me as soon as I see that.

Our 2011 season speaks for itself.

Bama's schedule that year was weak as shite.

Bama: UF, UT and Vandy
LSU: UF, UT and UK

Is that wrong?

Add to it that we use both divisional and cross-divisional games to decide the championship representatives, and it really is an insult to all logic. The difference in playing Mizzou and Tennessee vs. Georgia and Florida to decide who is divisional champions? That is HUGE.

If it's not LSU it will be someone else getting hosed in spite being the better team another year. The odds are already incredibly tilted towards the winner of the BAMA-A&M game representing the West before we enter fall camp on schedules alone.

It's just not sound logic and not in the spirit of competitive balance deciding champions.

This. How do people not understand that this is the fundamental premise and that it is a legitimate gripe?

The system is inherently unsound and illogical.

And the OP is a Bama hack. Insisting that if LSU is serious then they should threaten to leave the conference, then followed by a circle jerk of posters talking about how stupid it is for LSU to leave the conference, when in fact, LSU fans have not called for threatening to leave the conference over this. It's a goddamn straw man and bullshite premise in the OP.

But then again, this board is filled with more hacks and hackery than the goddamn Poli Board.

If you didn't see Florida on LSU's 2011 schedule, I wonder if you can read at all.

If you don't see Georgia and Florida on LSU's 2013 schedule, may I suggest reading comprehension 101?

Check out our nonconf schedule.

I'm pretty sure Bama only beat 2 or 3 teams with a winning record.

FastForward 10 years and it'll be UGA or Bama fans bitching about having to play AU or UT, while Florida gets to skate by every year playing LSU.

Of course, the REC will have lost control of the Universe.........

I hear ya wade, but whose fault is that besides LSU's? If y'all want an easier schedule or don't want Bama's to be easier than yours, then schedule patsies. That's up to LSU.
