It's why only a select few corndog cajuns are arguing this. Its almost the consensus that Florida has the best secondary in the country, except to a couple of you delusional fellas

In 2015 the top CB in Florida was Tarvarous McFadden and the top safety was Derwin James, both went to FSU.

Is that why Toliver was the #4 player in the state while McFadden was #8?

Literally none of the facts suggest that is true. I will grant that Florida has the best defensive back in the country. But usually teams play between 4-6 defensive backs at a time, depending on the specific package they are using. Figured you needed that football 101 lesson.

Agree to disagree. I still will put VH3, former 5 star Jalen Tabor, Quincy Wilson, Brian Poole, Marcus Maye, Duke Dawson, Keanu Neal, and Marcell Harris against any other group in the country.

Well then would you like to contribute to the original topic of conversation in a positive way? What is your opinion on Jennings' bad pass in practice?

Oh boy here we go

quote:

Florida is DBU

Is LSU really DBU?

But in case you need more check this video out: LSU is DBU

quote:

Florida has by far the best secondary in the SEC and probably in the nation

2014 stats with arguably a tougher west schedule
LSU gave up 162.3 pass yds per game
Florida gave up 194.2 pass yds per game

Ranking the SECs 5 best secondaries

quote:

The top rated db in Florida in 2014 was Duke Dawson (went to UF) and the top safety was Trey Marshall (went to FSU)

That's not what 247 says. We get our corners from FL and our safeties from Texas anyway

2015 was KTii and 2016 is Savion Smith and possibly Trayvon Mullen LINK

quote:

good position for Louisiana native Kristian Fulton

Not even close

The only stat that ends this debate is last years stats.

LSU: Passing yards allowed per game: 164.2
UF: Passing yards allowed per game: 213.6

LSU had a better secondary than UF last year. LSU=DBU.

Why on earth would a talented WR go to LSU when they don't recruit at the QB position.

Because every starting WR at LSU since 2010 played in the NFL.

Why would anyone want to go to tamu when the best season in program history was a third place finish in the division?

This is literally how every LSU fan feels about it's secondary. We've been stockpiling DBs for years now.

Kevin Toliver II *****
Tre'Davious White ****
Xavier Lewis ****
Ed Paris ****
Donte Jackson ****
Dwayne Thomas ****
Corey Thompson ****
Rickey Jefferson ****
Jamal Adams *****
Jalen Mills *** (will be drafted in the 1st 2 rounds)

At least try to backtrack or something. It makes you look like such a dumb bitch when you get shut down and default to the melt card because you don't have anything to say in response
