Yeah I can't believe not one of them thought that was a bad idea. I understand wanting your stuff back but that's just fricking stupid.

So they still broke into someone's apartment. Yeah, they're fricked regardless of their reasons

I agree, but it gives some context. At least they did break into someone's apartment and steal their shite, they broke in and stole their own shite back, reportedly.

Also, would it being their own property affect the burglary charges?

maybe. wonder what property it was. may have a hard time proving it.

i think a cop may side with the guy who had his place broken into.

They kicked the dude's door in so the home invasion charges are legit. I wouldn't be surprised if it all went away if there's any truth to their story, however.

There seems to be a lot of athletes being victims of theft and taking vigilante justice to the perpetrators.

It's an epidemic.

They probably didn't want to call the police because their weed was stolen.

well the article says they broke in the house to retrieve

quote:

a MacBook Air, three pairs of shoes and a PlayStation 4.

but then the article says

quote:

He identified Thomas as leaving the victim’s room with boxes of shoes and a Sony PlayStation. The laptop had been returned to Jennings earlier in the week, the police report says.

and then it says they actually took

quote:

The victim, who was out of town, returned to find the following missing from his room: a pair of grey/blue Georgetowns ($200), red/white Cherry’s ($120) and black 4’s ($200).

The roommate identified Thomas on Wednesday as the person who left the victim’s room with shoe boxes and the PlayStation.

what terrible writing

Updated story. Looks like they were dumb for not letting the police handle it. And takingback some "extra" would definitely not be a goid idea.

I get it,getting some extra reparations, but that don't fly when you're a legal adult.

Thugs are errywhere, it's just a matter of when your team gets hit, not if.

If the laptop and PS4 were theirs, I have no problem with them going to get their property back. Forcing their way in wasn't smart though.

Now the shoes.....

LSU athletes get all the free shoes they want, so I don't see whey they would give a shite if some dude stole a couple pairs from them. If they weren't their shoes and they took them anyway, then they are literally fricking retarded.
