LSU players chanting "Keep Coach O!"

In the lockerroom, per this tweet that Bruce Feldman retweeted. Any validity to this? Not surprising; players are usually pretty loyal (see Texas), and I don't think the administration takes it into account. But it's nice for Coach O.

Edit: here's a video from the lockerroom confirming the chant:
Keep Coach O

Coach O is always the bridesmaid and never the bride.

If everything falls through and we hire O there will be some building in flames

Y'all can do much better and will.

Well I hope he does get retained under Herman.

Last year was "keep Coach Miles"

You would love that wouldn't you?

I don't really care. If Jimbo or Herman agree to come, LSU would have to hire them. If not, Coach O with Aranda could be pretty good.
In a perfect world, LSU will remain a really good team, and the Bama-LSU will continue to be super-intense, and Bama will find a way to win every year.

They could also do much worse. Herman would be a great hire, Jimbo Fisher, not so much. I've lost all respect for Fisher.

Mad respect for coach O. But it's kinda like having a choice between a bottle of Jameson or a bottle of Jack Daniels. The sophisticated palate wants Herman (Jameson) and the conservative old guard wants Coach O (JD).

They love their coach. Nothing wrong with that. And with a decent OC and special teams coach he might be able to make something happen. But he is no CNS and that is the standard of excellence.

Then Coach O is perfect for LSU because the Tigers know all about being a bridesmaid.

Good for them. It's nice to see that kind of loyalty and O definitely deserves his praises to be sung after keeping the team together. However if he is kept hopefully it's for dl coach.

do you think he would stay on a new coaching staff? he didn't at USC, he left highly pissed. he left Oxford highly pissed after a 10-25 record. chances are good that he will leave red stick highly pissed too...
