Dude went to my alma mater and is a great kid.

Hope he's okay. Never good when a player goes down.

Did anyone notice how terrible that article was?

who down votes this?

Assholes with no lives that are too chicken shite to say anything in the open.

Yup. Hope the kid's ok.

Ok. I downvoted all three. I'm a dick.

It was heat exhaustion. Guice is famous for posting videos of some pretty legendary workouts, and the heat index was about 107 yesterday, not too far behind today, so I think the young man just worked a little too hard. I'm sure folks in College Station or Gainesville have seen some weeks like the one we're having in Baton Rouge.

He'll be fine in a few days, and hopefully learns a healthy respect for the limits of the human body.

Drink plenty of water if you spend a lot of time outside this week, folks. Heat exhaustion is no joke. I've been there.

Dehydration and hypoglycemia just in case anyone was wondering.

Correct. And he was not working out when either episode occurred. Lesson learned I'm sure.

Hopefully just heat/illness and not something cardiac related. So many young athletes with HOCM and Long QT running around that are ticking time bombs.

Definitely some of the biggest fears when I think about these guys and there's just no way of telling when it can happen until sometimes it just does.
