This one is easy.

Jeremy Hill. Will be a top 5 back in the NFL before his career is over.

LSU fans could care less what you or any other butt hurt Bama tard has to say about LF because the fact of the matter is Bama did absolutely everything in their power to land him and failed.Get the frick over it,not everyone wants to play for Bama.

Where did I say that Bama would not have loved to have him? Of course we tried everything in our power to get him. He's a great player. But statistically, there has never been another running back like Henry and that includes Fournette.

I et you believe everything the media tells you about the politics as well instead of studying the subject and making your own informed opinion.

Derrick Henry had 1387 carries in high school. Fournette had 512. Suck on those stats.

I have already pointed this out and yet here we are again

LF didn't play at all his sophomore year, 9 games his Freshman year, all 13 games his junior year, and 8 his senior year so his production was great considering his playing time

This thread is a treatment to how delusional many LSU fans are about Fournette. The fact that some pick him over Jeremy Hill, a proven talent in the SEC, is absurd.

Hill was considered the 21st best RB in the nation when he came out. Fournette is considered the #1 player in the nation and the best RB prospect in the past decade. Is it really that absurd?

I'd have taken Hill back in a heartbeat.

That said, I'm cool with Fournette; can't wait to see what the kid can do!

FIFY. Henry had better stats in every season in high school in the historically 1st or 2nd best state for high school football in the country.

You're making a big mistake comparing the competition in Yulee, FL to the ridiculous talent in Central Florida and South Florida. Henry would have been great wherever he played but there is no way he puts up those numbers playing against the competition you see in major metro areas in Florida. Despite his size and stats, he wasn't even the highest ranked RB in the state the year he came out.

I'm with you. Hill definitely exceeded the expectations. All Fournette needs to do is meet the expectations.

So that fact that Derrick can stay healthy and Fournette cannot is on knock on Henry and a plus to Fournette?

Sure turned out well for the last RB that was ranked as the #1 overall recruit.

If it's an eligibility thing, Fournette. If straight up one year, Hill.

Hill had 1400 rush yards 16 TDs and 180 receiving yards in 12 games. In one of those games, he only played one quarter, in another, two quarters. Let's just say he compiled nearly 1600 yards and 16 TDs in 11 games. Now he gets his 4/5 of his OL back? I'd be stupid to pick anyone else.

ETA: He ran for 6.9 ypc IN THE SEC!!! At 233lbs.
