A lot depends on the maturation and development of our secondary. A&M can roll up some serious points, and this is the weakest secondary we've had in some time.

I think it's close unless they improve a lot, which is also possible.

Depends on if LSU newly discovered Defense is for real. One game does not make a trend... I am encouraged however.

I'd wait to feel any encouragement until they perform well against an offense with the ability to throw the ball more than ten yards downfield, or even the ability to call such a play.

true if we keep the robinson, white and mills look our d can be good.

I honestly think its close.

a&m offense is flashier than ours and better but our o has closed the gap and our o can ball control which means less Jff.

then you have the a&m d and its just terrible, our d has been very bad at times but then held state to 3 points in the second half and uf to 6 all game. we seemed to cut down the blown coverages the second half of state game and in the uf game. Also barrow is playing better, hopefully we got a cone or rock to replace welter and we will improve more.

I think its us slightly and being at home we win.

Take away your 4 best offensive players(what JFF means to our offense) and what does LSU have? The, "without your best player" statement is the lowest rent of sports arguments.

I think it's closer than most think, but only because of one player. Take that one player away and A&M struggles in any SEC game.

Right now, LSU. But A&M could beat them under the right circumstances.

I still think A&M wins in Death Valley. By a large margin.

Manziel is the x-factor. Even when the A&M offense is stale like it was last night in Oxford, come crunch time you give it to Manziel and the offense scores 40+. LSU has a bad offensive night(for whatever reason not claiming that'll happen) and they won't crack 20.

Take away LSU's 4 best offensive players and they struggle. Cool story.

LSU.
A&M is the most overrated team in the country.
The Ags only have one player; everyone else on the squad is a joke.
And Sumlin is gone before the season is over.
The Baton Rouge game is going to be a massacre.

MSU & UGA put up about 500 yards of Offense on that LSU Defense. TAMU will likely light them up.

Huh? They both have one loss with A&M having the better loss by far.

I used to think gumps were the most delusional, and while that is probably still true, I think LSU fans are easily the most sensitive.

Against Florida, with the best D in the country, sure. But against aTm a bad LSU offensive night will probably be ~35-42. A good one will be 50+.

kinda hard to have a bad offensive night vs yalls d. anyone that thinks its going to be a blow out is stupid. we will ram hill down yalls throat and control the clock. if yall commit to stopping him then our wrs will gash yall. id prefer the ground and pound game though as it keeps jff off the field.

our d still needs to improve its tackling but our coverage has gotten better. Id like to see us use some of our younger more athletic line backers for spying jff

In a landslide. Their constant need of attention and their efforts to try to make everyone think they're just as good as Alabama makes them a touchy bunch.

And while we're talking about who's better,LSU is better than Bama as well IMO.

Thats not what this thread is about.

But while we are at it, i disagree. Weve beaten the shite out of everyone we have played. LSU hasnt. Thats why i think we are the better team. And dont give me the schedule argument. LSU and Bama's schedule has been pretty even so far.

But thats not what this thread is about

our offense honestly wasn't that bad. mett was off and also took a few cheap shots from uf but that is expected because boom is a piece of shite.

anyways the game plan was to not allow ufs best part to beat us. That is their d, we played it safe since we had control. If their o has been a threat at any point i bet we would have attacked more. I was fine with not taking many chances and grinding them down this game. It wasn't the same feel as a helpless 0 that can only grind.
