For those who say it will not work
Jerry Damson Honda, with dealerships in Huntsville, Decatur, and Florence, recently began advertising on the Finebaum show. A group of my Auburn friends at church decided we would contact Mr. Damson and inform him of finebaum's hate campaign against Auburn, and his sponsoring of this hate filled, Jerry Springer type program.
We got the response below. If you would like to contact Mr. Damson, to thank him or leave a response go to

Gentlemen,
Thank you each for your response to our web-site feedback. My advertising agency suggested we advertise on the PFS as it has many listeners in our markets. I agreed to try this out and see what we got from it. Obviously it is not worth us loosing one customer much less three!! I am not a PFS listener so I was unaware of the issues you each brought to my attention. As of today I have pull all PFS spots on 93.9 The Score. If you listen today the spot may run, but they assured me the spots would be out of the rotation by Monday October 10th. I would hope each of you would reconsider your business dealings with Jerry Damson Honda and Nissan in the future.
Once again Thank You for your comments.
Sincerely,
Deke Damson

I remember it during the game and was annoyed by it. However, having actually played the game before (unlike the OP, I'm sure) I recognized that we were only seeing part of ONE play. We don't know if something was done prior to the kick - on the same play or a previous one - that led to that as retaliation.
I love how you are trying to spin this. It's like LSU fans spinning the bar brawl right?

That's funny. That dealership may have had a limited flight campaign that was close to ending for all we know. If so, the campaign was over and the guy looks good to those lunatics too. Brilliant move by Damson if true.

Good thing you rushed over here and posted this 4 days later so the SECR wouldn't miss out.

I am totally disappointed in Upshaw and I think his arse should sit for what we saw...but comparing this to the bar fight is stretching at best..

No spin. I was annoyed by it. It bothered me. I mentioned that. We also don't know the whole issue. I mentioned that.
To compare it to the bar brawl is ridiculous. One kick to a guy in full uniform with pads and helmet is not = kicking a guy in the face at the end of a fight.
(that said, I don't think that fight warranted the attention it received, not do i think it should have gone to trial)

I've been seeing posts about something a Bama player did that was atrocious and uncalled for. Is it that little kick?
That's small potatoes. That wouldn't even ruin a player's career.
Sincerely,
Chaz Ramsey

I'm not comparing the kick to the bar fight. I'm comparing him looking for the an instance where it is warranted to LSU fans and the bar fight.

Oh, well. I don't want to get into it. Sit his arse for being dumb, not the "kick". He needs to remember that everything done on that field is seen by all..

Upshaw looks like a little girl pitching a fit more so than kicking a downed lineman to cause pain.

I feel quite confident that the OP, like easley, probably plays with dolls.
