is Chief any good at recruiting attorneys?

Chief has a great attorney who is extremely tough, but always seems to blow it at the end of big trials.

So Aggy is like the words sike, dope and fresh. Only relevant in the 90's.

In football terms the 400k isn't very much money and having your new defensive coordinator distracted or even tied up on court issues seems like a dumb thing to allow if you can just avoid it.

Why doesn't A&M just pay the 400k to make this go away instead of allowing the circus to go on? Chavis being pulled away from work isn't bad for LSU now so they really have no incentive to call off the lawsuit.

Full disclosure I think Chavis is one of the great coordinators in college football and having hired him I don't know why A&M isn't more interested in protecting their investment (they are after all paying him 1.67 million a year for three years so the buyout is pretty much only ten percent of the contract)

This isn't much of a rivalry yet....A&M has to win a game before it can be considered a rivalry...I don't see that happening anytime soon so, yeah, no rivalry here except off the field issues right now. A&M is garbage...

Just how much time do your think Chavis is having to spend on this? He hands his contract to his lawyer (I'm sure he's already got himself a copy) and says "Go".

I think you may be putting too much stock into this fabrication of yours. All it's doing is racking up the Lawyer fees for both sides the longer this draws out.

To which I say, take it out of the $400,000.000 (+ interest) owed A&M for the discontinuation of the series in the 90's, and we'll use the leftover interest money to up our corndog game inside Kyle for you guys.

Win/Win.
