Just for a moment to ignore your shitty troll attempt
Yeah we should play Tulane.
I mean they suck, but I fricking hate them and i would like them to know how much better we are at football then them.

With an already outrageous Sec schedule we all have to play, and now we are forced to play a tougher OOC team, I say play Tulame to get the one easy win. That includes my dawgs. Chit is getting ridiculous in the conference and we all need an automatic win.

LSU should be playing Tulane, La.Tech and Southwest Louisiana Junior College at Lafayette every season instead of all those out of state non-conference "sisters of the poor" type schools...............

If you had any sense whatsoever, which I doubt, you would be pulling for them to win out.

It really is a shame Arky begins every year brain dead only to show well late. Conversely, the Tigers do the opposite it seems.
Going to be interesting when Arky starts losing those long term players like Allen.

LSU contractually owes Tulane a game in New Orleans
Care to elaborate? I'd be pretty excited for this
In 2009, LSU told Tulane that it wanted all future games to be played in BR. Tulane said no. So LSU cancelled the home and home series with Tulane. As part of the agreement to cancel the series LSU paid Tulane $700,000 and agreed to play one future game in NOLA. LSU then turned around and started playing the neutral site vs big OOC opponent games that all the fans hate.
So yes OP, I would much rather play Tulane in football to start the season than go to Houston, Atl, or Dallas to play a neutral site revenue game.
ETA: They looked into playing it this year, but apparently they couldn't work out the seat arrangement and alotment. Too bad because a season opener in the dome would have been awesome, but instead we got a weather cancellation vs McNeese and Tulane got a blowout on a thursday night vs Duke.

As part of ending the contract, LSU agreed to play Tulane once more in New Orleans. The teams stopped playing annually in 1995 but played single games in 1996 and 2001.
In the 10-year deal, which began in 2006, LSU was given 33,000 tickets to sell, Ausberry said. The financial terms and tickets are the main issues to be worked out for a possible game in 2015. LSU was scheduled to play Jacksonville State in the 2015 opener but Ausberry said the game has been moved to 2016.
